ICA congratulates all on the occasion of Bapu's birthday.

I feel proud to see the statue of the great leader just outside Regina's City Hall. It is like a temple of peace. We should make it a 'point of interest' in Regina and take our friends and family who visit us from India or elsewhere. Our children should be told the motivating stories about this frail man who due to his education, intelligence, humanity and goodwill made a big mark not only for himself but for all Indians too.

India's tricolour (national flag) was prominently displayed with due honour in Regina's (Saskatchewan)Conexus Arts centre on Aug 18, 2012.

The event called 'India in the Park' was arranged by ICA. There were cultural presentations like dances and patriotic songs on a colourful stage. Our youth and some adult performers entertained the crowds throughout the afternoon. Our young friend Ali from Pakistan performed a dance number. This was a gret lesson for the separatists who continuously look to create voids between the two neighbouring countries.
