India Canada Association of Saskatchewan (ICA) invites you and your near ones to join us in celebrating India's Independence Day at Conexus Arts Center.There will be two separate events on Saturday, August 4, 2013 at Conexus Arts Center. ICA is pleased to have Mr. Ravi Shankar Aisola, Consul General of India, Vancouver as the Chief Guest for the evening event. Please see the attached poster for detail.

Masters of the Wind

Ramdas Palsule (Tabla), Pt. Ronu Majumdar (Flute), George Brooks (Saxophone)

The “leading American voice in Indian jazz fusion”, saxophonist and composer, George Brooks, Indian bamboo flute master Pt. Ronu Majumdar, a major innovator with New Age Music, and tabla maestro Ramdas Palsule come together to create the finest Indian-inspired jazz and jazz flavored raga.

ICA is celebrating India's Republic Day with the usual spirit and pomp and show.

The evnet will show case performances by the ICA Hindi school, greetings from the Municipal, Provincial and Fedral administration and some patriotic songs.

There will be refreshments for all guests.

The event is free of cost and all are welcome.
