Astronaut Marc Garneau to deliver keynote at India Supper Night fundraiser

'First Canadian in space' -astronaut Marc Garneau will be in Regina this weekend as part of India Supper Night fundraising event.

Garneau has just been added to the program of the 31st Annual India Supper Night which will take place on Saturday, September 29, on stage at the Conexus Arts Centre. Hosted by the India Canada Association of Saskatchewan (ICA), attendance at this event is expected to top 400.

Mrs. Narinder Chauhan, Acting High Commissioner of India to Canada, will also be in attendance.

This popular event celebrates Indian cuisine & culture.

Proceeds from this year's dinner will go to Kids Help Phone.

ICA is a non-profit dedicated to promoting East Indian heritage and cross-cultural awareness. The organization is a leader among local multicultural groups in terms of programming, outreach, and community engagement.
